Hi, I’m Senica Jackson!
Hi, I’m Senica a trauma life coach, clinical professional-in-training, veteran, and mom. My passion for trauma-informed work comes from both lived experience and professional training. I proudly served five years on active duty in the military and later worked as a police officer, roles that exposed me to high-stress environments, crisis situations, and the emotional toll trauma can take when it goes unaddressed.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in trauma and crisis intervention. This combination of real-world experience and clinical education allows me to approach healing with both structure and compassion.
At the heart of my work is creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—not judged or rushed. As a mother, I understand the weight of carrying responsibility while trying to show up for yourself and others. Parents, caregivers, and those navigating life’s demands are especially encouraged to reach out. You deserve support too.
TraumaToThriving is about moving beyond survival and learning how to live with clarity, confidence, and intention—at a pace that honors your journey.
My Approach
My approach to trauma-informed coaching is rooted in safety, compassion, and intention. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and supported—not rushed, judged, or pressured to “fix” yourself. TraumaToThriving is not about reliving the past, but about understanding how your experiences have shaped you and learning how to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Drawing from my background in psychology, ongoing clinical mental health counseling training, and years of experience in high-stress, service-oriented roles, I blend evidence-informed practices with practical, real-life tools. Our work together focuses on emotional regulation, self-awareness, resilience, and reconnecting with your sense of identity—at a pace that honors your capacity and boundaries.
I take a collaborative and empowering approach. You are the expert of your lived experience; my role is to guide, support, and help you build skills that align with your values and goals. As a mom and professional, I understand the demands of life, parenting, and responsibility—so our work is realistic, flexible, and grounded in everyday application.
